Notes about the calendar: Our web calendar helps make our District and Lodges strong and we continuously emphasize its use. Print a copy for reference in meetings. Please experiment with it for yourself. For example, you can toggle the calendar display between traditional and "agenda" (list) format, and if you click an item you will be able to see any additional information that is entered.

At the top of the calendar pane are tools: horizontal arrows to change date range, tabs for printing and views, agenda view "Expand / Collapse All" to display/hide agenda details, and vertical arrows to scroll the visible pane.

Calendar Additions and Corrections: All the district Lodge stated meetings are entered as recurring appointments. The webmaster can edit them individually or collectively and can easily add events. The web calendar cannot include attachments, but they can be posted to the respective Lodge web page and then linked to the calendar event. (1) It's very important for the First District webmaster to be on the email list of each First District lodge. (2) Also send any files you want posted, such as Trestle Boards, pictures, handouts, etc.

Browsers: This calendar works with any browser. Plus there at least three ways to read off-line: (1) subscribe as a RSS feed, (2) export it as an "iCal" data file for your PC calendar, or (3) if your calendar software can access a web calendar directly (such as Outlook 2007) then link to:

Tips 'n Tricks: If the web calendar doesn't open, try (a) your keyboard [F5] key (refresh), or (b) put your cursor on the browser address bar and press [Enter]. If you still can't open the web calendar, check your browser settings that (c) JavaScript is enabled and (d) temporarily disable Ad Blocking and/or browser add-ins.
